#10 FINISHING WASHER BLACK OXIDE

This is a raised type finishing washer, which is convex shaped, designed for accommodating the heads of 82° countersunk flat and oval head screws. It provides additional bearing area on the material being fastened and can be used to give a neat, finished appearance.

Countersunk finishing washers are typically supplied with a nickel plating, but other coatings such as black oxide are also popular.
